Application phiControl

The founders of ORmatiC developed the energy saving system phiControl, which can be used in condensation recooling plants with forced air cooling, regardless of design and manufacturer. In conjunction with the energy supplier Bewag (Berlin), the phiControl system was developed, tested and successfully implemented in two large refrigeration plants (e.g., Kältezentrale Potsdamer Platz). The use of phiControl in refrigeration plants can lead to energy savings of ca. 20 %, or an output increase of equal height. → see reference

Based on meteorological conditions, the ECT system performs sensory and mathematical calculations online to determine the optimal coolant-based operation level for your plant. The weather-guided coolant regulation allows you to operate your entire refrigeration plant near the energetic optimum.

This is currently the most efficient recooling system for large refrigeration plants with a cooling output higher than 1 MW. All existing recooling systems can easily be retrofitted with this system.
